When there is darkness
In the midst of the Kathmandu city lies an isolated village along the Bagmati river without electricity. They live here with the constant fear of being evicted by the local government. The battle to call this place their home has been raging for 10 years without any immediate solution in sight.
They find their way around the pitch black that envelopes the village using small LED bulbs & solar panels. Life is tough & chaotic at first glance.
These people have been fighting against all odds to live a normal life and yet they were compassionate enough to make an absolute stranger like me feel at home.
